]]> By Jamie May Photography:  Grand Rapids Weddings | Jamie May Photography. I am so behind on my blog post this year. I had a FULL wedding season and a lot of other sessions. This wedding was back in August (wow, I am really behind).  I first met Akeem at Fit Body Boot Camp, where he is a trainer.  Everyday he brings the energy and is looking out for the best interest of the people he is helping.  It is no wonder years previous, he caught the eye (or vice versa) of Anna!  Anna is delightful, too!  She was so easy to work with.   For me it all started when Akeem  asked me to come take pictures when he proposed to her! That is always so awesome to be a part of!!!!!  So I was thrilled when Akeem and Anna asked me to be their photographer for their wedding!!!

Akeem and Anna are so positive and so full of energy. Needless to say, the wedding, reception and all the time in between was a blast!  We did have rain through most of the day, but found little spots to make pictures work out, and really in most of the pictures you wouldn’t even know it was raining.  The rain did take a few intermittent breaks.  A few of my favorite pictures happened that day, one of them being the group of guys videoing the garter removal.  Ha!  Akeem and Anna, wishing you many more years!!!
